Summary:  The successful candidate for this position will be very dependable and accessible at all times.  This candidate must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs and provide basic technical support for the company’s day-to-day operations.  The ability to self-motivate and motivate others is always a positive, additional skill. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Must have knowledge of PC hardware (Microsoft Windows- DOS, 2000, XP (Professional), (Microsoft Office Suite- Install, trouble shoot, support end users w/suite, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook (setup exchange users)

Basic networking skills (568a, 568b, Cross Over wiring schemes) adding printers, map network drives, installation, troubleshooting.

Support common ACT productivity software (WinZip, Acrobat, E-fax, FTP, Guide, Oracle Client, Citrix, VNC, etc.….

Create and maintain daily reports.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience: 

Minimum 2 year degree or certification(s) in a related field; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
